  | Hillcrest Road | Mar 2014 | The clients from this project hired us to design and build an addition to their traditional house that would contain a kitchen, small half bath and a back entry mud room. They wanted a clean and modern kitchen that would stand out but also blend in with the more traditional architecture of their house. The built in pantry, dark granite counters, multi-colored tiled backsplash, transitional pendant lights and the simple white recessed panel cabinets give the modern feel but also flow with the architecture and color scheme of the more traditional adjacent spaces. The small half bath and mudroom are inspired by the more traditional traits of the rest of the house and their subtle colors and clean lines help with the flow to the original dining room. | $220k | Belmont, MA |
