330 Exteriors

I have had my roof replaced by 330 Exteriors. My roof leaks now apparently from a roof vent. It is either the wrong ridge vent or faulty workmanship. Tim Patterson has not been responsive to my calls to repair my roof. Oh he said he was responsive when interviewed to for the work. But, I wouldn't bet on it.

Tim Patterson seems nice but he is a scumbag and a liar. Quoted a good price, then out sourced to another team that completed quickly (he acted like it was his crew but it wasn’t). A year later my two original leaks that I had a whole roof tear off for are still leaking, 2 other roofers have verified 2x chimney boot stacks were never replaced as quoted and the 90lb asphalt for the flat part of roof was wrong material and should never have been used. Assuming the actual shingles, underlayment and replaced boards were done right fixing the flattop and chimney stacks will cost me $2k. Contacted Tim right after major leak occurred, he agreed it should never have happened since full tear off. Asked for more detailed about location of leaks and promised to be out by the following Tuesday - ghosted after that. I waited several weeks and “left 5 voicemails and 4 emails trying to connect - was polite as I was still hoping for an easy resolution, mid March I filed a BBB complaint (he has yet to respond to). I finally brought in other roofers to estimate repair - then emailed him and told him I’d still like to resolve but have confirmation and estimates that work wasn’t done properly. He said he’d send a crew over to repair by end of the weekend but ghosted. Will be suing Tim Patterson so that others can be warned. Luckily his promises to fix and ghosting and non-response to BBB will help me in court so he made no good faith effort to resolve and I was more than reasonable. Next step is getting my insurance company involved for their vested interest as this was an insurance claim.

I would highly recommend Tim and his crews. They were very professional, quick and clean with a fairly difficult project of removing a 100 year old slate roof that was over 30 feet above grade and replacing with asphalt dimensional shingles.
