Truly Unprofessional. Contacted Mr. Houston through with the recommendation of porch.com and set up a floor repair and refinishing from California. I only had a small time window to complete the project as I was traveling to the area for my rental property. We agreed and confirmed a date two weeks out, but then he said he wasn't able to make that date the day before the project start. We agreed to stay with him, even though he was going to complete the project on my last 3 days in the area. Upon arrival the morning of the the 2nd date agreed upon, he arrived as scheduled. While walking through and discussing the project and expectations, (repair, stain, coat and cleanup), and that we wanted a professional and as new product as possible, he stated we were to difficult and walked out on us and the project within 5 minutes of meeting to leave us scrambling for a new contractor. A true disappointment and unprofessional.....used allot of foul language as he departed which was unwarranted. As a active duty sailor, with limited time off, I was in a bind. After driving around and with high recommendations, Mid South Flooring agreed and completed the project perfectly and professionally. Avoid Mr. Houston at all costs.
