Don't Hire!This man is a con to the fullest!CCAP him you will see how many judgements he has for taking $ and never doing the work.He took $1800.00 for a half payment and never returned, called and said he had a heart condition (Alchohol)it what he has.He cahed our check the same day he got it and ran,he comes off as this man that he is a vet,and helping out the middle class people on pricing,bullshit.I can't believe he is still getting away with stealing from people and can still put his head on a pillow and sleep at night.Never even contact this crook you will be sorry.Over 6yrs ago he screwed us over and other people and still do it,omg! Isn’t interesting Mr. Dale Baldwin waited two years to respond to a 2016 review? The fact he resorted to referring to a former client as a “clown” is indicative of his lack of professionalism. Again I warn.. do not let this guy near your property.

The review I wrote on Google began with the words DO NOT HIRE. Dale Baldwin is unprofessional, rude, does not adhere the contract he produces, lies to the homeowner and made what should have been a 5 day job, a month and a half ordeal. The original bid was $2600 to rebuild a porch which Mr. Baldwin assessed would fix the original problem which was a leak in a picture window on the first floor below the porch. There were delays because Mr. Baldwin does not work if there is any rain in the forecast and he took on other jobs during the course of my work, something he told me he didn't do. Of course the window still leaks and when approached with that issue he told us "Never contact me again." Do not hire Baldwin Building Improvements, if you do, be prepared to be cheated and lied to, as well as have the work redone. I am currently investigating legal action for the problems we have had with this contractor. Since he has told us not to contact him, I have no other recourse. Porch should blacklist Baldwin Building Improvements, as no one needs to be treated to the unprofessional and caustic treatment of owner Dale Baldwin.
