I used DFC Build to remodel my kitchen and was amazed at how great it turned out. The workmanship and professionalism was top notch. Its always dicey selecting a group to take on a personal project since I have heard so many bad stories about contractors, but I can give my best recommendation for this contractor. I always appreciate other people making recommendations to look out for the consumer these days, but you dont have to worry about DFC Build since they are really solid.

Hire Dan at DFC Build. Just do it - you won't regret it. He does what he says he's going to do, when he's going to do it, on budget and finished beautifully. Dan has the eye of a designer and the knowledge of a contractor to create spaces that rival anything you see on a TV show with a celebrity designer. He understood our needs for the remodeled space, and offered expert suggestions as he worked. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and insight during the project. He worked with us to design a space with the finish, look, and feel that we envisioned in our heads. The reality turned out far better than we could have imagined. During the dirtiest parts of the project (concrete grinding, drywall sanding, wood cutting, etc.), he kept the work space clean and organized. Sure, there was construction dust, but at the end of each day, he reset everything to clean and organized, and it never felt like overwhelming construction in our house even though it was a big project. He somehow created order in the chaos as he worked. He kept us on budget, and worked to find alternatives whenever we hit a cost barrier. For example, the granite counter tops we originally wanted were too expensive for our budget, and he got creative to build us an alternative that turned out far better than even the granite option, but well within our budget. We were thrilled. He worked like a beast on a mission each day, and made every moment on the job site count. When we unexpectedly found out we would be hosting a party weeks earlier than our original date to wrap-up the project, he worked nonstop well into the evenings to help us finish early, and we had the new space ready on time! Then, when the construction was complete and with his last few hours on the job site, Dan did something I have never seen a contractor do before. He hung curtain rods. He assembled couches. He arranged furniture, and placed area rugs. Dan really, truly, and completely designed the space from beginning to end based on the vision we had in our heads. When he walked out the door at the end, the job was COMPLETE down to the last detail, and every single thing, from the finish on the baseboards to the detail paint work, to the way everything sparkled because he had cleaned it all. Walking into the new space felt like we were on a big reveal on a TV show. It was amazing, and at that moment Dan walked the tightrope between contractor and designer. The quality of his work is astounding, and we will be employing Dan for other home remodel projects as long as we can in the future. Hire Dan and DFC Build - you won't regret it!
