Pro Improvement group

I'm writing this review in response to Mr. Garcia's back lash towards my family. I want to begin by saying PAUL, that this very much so is OUR home! My mother chose you as our contractor because of the "look" you presented. She trusted YOU! WE trusted you! And it's upsetting that you would call us scammers when we paid you more than what we should have. You asked us to pay you the final amount for a job that was NOT even completed so that you could keep up with your payroll (as per your employees). I'm writing DIRECTLY TO YOU because we both know that your company is a ONE MAN show. We paid you up front, bought the necessary materials and yet it wasn't enough. The materials never lasted and it seemed as though every 3 days we were at Home Depot buying more of something! You insulted my mother when she asked you about certain things that needed to be corrected by telling her "it's written on the invoice and it's not my fault if you can't understand english"! What kind of professionalism is that? Your workers left razor blades on the floor of my 5 and 3 year old daughters room at the entrance of the door, the baseboards were installed and not painted, with scuff marks everywhere. Tiles were placed unevenly and chipped, grout is lifting, closet doors were installed UPSIDE DOWN, because the tile made the floor higher (which was NEVER stated to us would happen) you couldn't even install one of the doors! You had a vanity made for us that was done not correctly and had a 3in gap from the ceiling. You install vanities but not faucets, how does that work? How is it possible, someone who has been in the business so long, or claims to be, has this many mistakes. When confronted with the mistakes you get all defensive, you don't take any responsibility, you blame it all on the customer and go on google to rant about it, as if it were our fault. You deliberately go to my husbands business page and write a bad review to hurt him, when YOU'VE NEVER BEEN OUR CUSTOMER! It speaks volumes about your character and the type of business owner that you are. Yes, when someone looks at your page they have all the right to be warned about you and the SUBCONTRACTORS that you hire!! One of them even tried hitting on my mom asking her to go out!! HER HUSBAND JUST DIED!!! What's even more entertaining is that all your other bad reviews, seem to have consistencies with ours. It unfortunate what happened, our house is a mess and falling apart because of YOUR bad work. The unprofessionalism with Pro Improvement Group speaks for itself. Everything in this review is 100% accurate and backed up with pictures. This is the TYPICAL bad contractor story. Anyone is free to come to my home and see the mess for themselves.

I bought my home two years ago and needed our primary bathroom remodeled. Paul Garcia of Pro Improvement Group was told exactly what to expect as my bathroom walls were rotten from a previous water leak. I explained all this before they began. I was told by him, he and his crew would start my 4' x 9' bathroom remodel project on Monday February 8, 2016 and finish on Friday February 12th or no later then Saturday 13th. I took that week off for vacation. They did little to no work on most days that week. Monday, no work was performed, Tuesday the 9th they worked about 2 hours. Tuesday the 9th the bath tub was partially loosen but not removed. Finally they got it removed Thursday the 11th. My old cast iron tub drain plumbing was broken which was a good thing as it needed to be replaced, but due to all the delays removing the tub and not finding a plumber until Thursday afternoon to come on Friday morning and finished on Monday afternoon, that was a lot more wasted time. This type of mess went on for six weeks, yes SIX WEEKS! The cabinet was finally installed on March 15th and was still not completed as of March 18th. Paul hires workers from who knows where, They left a mess in my bushes and on my front porch. I ask them to discontinue the work as I couldn't continue to put up with delays, excuses, incompetence and poor workmanship and having to leave from work whenever Paul found time to come by or send whoever to my home to either continue work or to correct things that needed to be corrected. I definitely would not recommend Pro Improvement Group.
