Surrendered Remodel, I'm updating my previous review because I appreciate the quality of the final product. The problem was in your delay in providing an estimate and start date. As you mentioned I'm attempting to manage for the care of my elderly mother and the home from long distance. It was extremely difficult to get responses from anyone offering the this type of service and you were one of but 3 that ultimately responded, the other two came once back in Seattle. When day 2 passed from the date you stated an estimate would be provided I opted to post the initial negative review and standby the validity of the submission, 3 days after the hand shake and promise of providing the estimate I opted to use what means were available to provide feedback on this site regarding my experience at that time. I appreciate old school and a handshake as much as I can appreciate communication, had you simply reached out and informed me of the delay I would have never considered or consumed my time with this distraction. In the end the final product provided was more than acceptable and costs were fair.

JD came out to provide a cost estimate on an emergent bathroom repair for my elderly mother 5 days ago. He stated he would have an estimate dropped off to me the next day, still waiting. Not recommended, not dependable to follow thru with cost estimate and scheduling work. The tough economy for working age folks and population of elderly in the Dayton area seems to lend to a "don't care attitude" among those stating they provide handyman services.
