Fine Finishes Custom Interior and Exterior Painting

Do NOT use Zachary and Fine Finish Custom Painting if you expect professionalism and quality painting. He painted my downstairs and outdoor pergola in 2019 with no issues. I was pleased,so I decided to use him again. He just painted my entire house July 2021,and It has been the worse paint experience. Before he started, I asked him not to post pics of my house to any websites and to wear shoe coverings upstairs because I have a toddler in the family. He agreed. Well he has posted 6 pics of my house to this Houzz site. Not to mention one day he took a break from painting my house to sit at my kitchen table and have a 1 hour call with a rep about signing up with Houzz to advertise his business. Now he is denying posting the pics after I saw him taking pics in my house. He lied and said he doesn’t know how the pics got posted. I have screenshots from his page on Houzz. And after a few days I had to keep asking him and his helper to put on the new shoe covers that I was providing them each day. He has come back twice because I keep noticing major issues: large area on running paint lines on dining room wall, paint smears & droplets on base boards, toilet lid and bathroom and hall closet doors, paint droplet on carpet in master BR & tv room, missed painting some areas of wall, paint droplets on some of my hardwood steps going upstairs when they used a drop cloth, 2 damaged towel holders in master bathroom, which Zach is now arguing with me about damaging after I already paid $5000 for this crappy, unprofessional work. He took on another job right when he started painting my house and the quality shows. He rushed painting my downstairs because he overcommitted. On the last paint day he & his helper were visibly tired. I heard him tell his helper to “stop and take breaks if he needed because that’s what he was doing.” Zach was so tired I was in my office and could hear him breathing most of the day like he was exhausted and about to pass out. I noticed him sitting at my kitchen table abt 4:30 eating his pizza from lunch earlier knowing they were trying to finish painting my house. So unprofessional.  Now when I call out these issues he gets defensive because these issues are a poor reflection. He was supposed to come back a 3rd time because they poorly painted a large area of wall Neil the ceiling in my downstairs hallway. I happened to notice that you can see the old paint as I was coming in from the garage. He got defensive saying he didn’t know how they were missing all these things. They were missed because they were tired and rushing. He started cursing at me told me “F You I don’t care what happens now.” He tried to flip the narrative like he’s the victim. I’m the customer and a repeat one at that and his customer service skills suck. I can see that he has a temper by the way he started cursing and yelling at me. Is this the workmanship and behavior of a professional businessman?  BBB complaint and bad reviews coming.

I employed Zack for an interior painting job with walls over 20 ft high. I had 3 previous quotes all were higher and non of them would even return my calls. Zach and his assistant showed up on time moved and covered all my furniture. They were clean and professional. Swept and vacuumed when the job was completed. I will continue to utilize there services for any future projects.

Our home looks AMAZING- we had our entry way, up the stairs, kitchen and living room painted- including all the trim and doors -Not a single blemish can be found. We also had the railing stained and the pickets re-painted- My husband and i are so pleased- Zach and his worker Frank were INCREDIBLY professional and efficient- Zach kept his word about every step of this project! Zach and his team stained one of the best looking two tone wood decks that I have ever seen at my house. After submitting my request on porch the owner contacted me within 5 minutes and they began work within 3 days. Their prices were very competitive and the finished product was some of the best work that I've ever seen. The owner was very informative along the process which took multiple days due to the size and two tone color combination that I wanted and the finish product exceeded my expectations.
