Horrible experience. Spoke with Rick (Rick's Plumbing) about the job and he indicated it could be done in two days. He was responsive, I had checked BBB and all seems well. 30 days later, no sign of him or 75% of money rendered for services he misrepresented he had performed. When I have asked for status at one point it was a family emergency (and I understand things happen), then it was a broken truck in FL and had to wait for a part; but still will take three days before he's back in GA because there was a tree on a family member house he had to attend to in AL (again mindful that things can happen, I survived Hurricane Andrew); three days after he was supposed to be back on the job I ask for a status check and silence. I wanted to honor my sister for caring for our Mom who recently passed away by providing her a nice place to stay. We shut down the other house and she is now compelled to sleep on her son's couch because of plumbing delays which also delayed other contractors. I am compelled to hire someone else to finish this job because Rick is not responding. Had another plumber come in and assess the work needed to get plumbing ready to turn on water to the house thinking it shouldn't take much...I was wrong. Thought my using Porch would vet me a reliable contractor...I was wrong again. I would give a 0 if I could
