All Decked Out LLC

We initially contacted All Decked Out in early 2022 for a quote to replace our deck. Art was very responsive, came out right away and got an estimate back to us in a timely fashion. We signed a contract with him and he gave us a timeframe to start the project as end of June or early July of 2022. We went into the project fully aware that there would likely be delays in the timeframe due to prior Covid delays and supply issues, but our experience with All Decked Out went way beyond normal construction delays. We contacted Art around the time the project should have started and he told us it would be delayed as he was on vacation in early July. We were then given a timeframe of September for the project to start. September came and went. We had to contact Art several times via text, phone call and email to even get an update from him. They finally came out and tore down our old deck in November of ‘22 with a promise of starting the project within the next couple of weeks, but then didn’t actually start the project until April of ‘23. Our house is raised in the back so the deck is 10-12 ft off the ground, so it was quite dangerous to have nothing below our sliding glass door for that amount of time. There were some issues with what we originally asked for design wise on our deck and what we ended up with, but overall our deck is lovely and we are happy with it, but I cannot begin to express how stressful it was for us to deal with this company. We were quoted a timeframe for 3-4 months and it took 14 months for the project to be fully completed. I was pregnant and newly postpartum during this time and it was very upsetting for me to have the additional stress of hounding Art on a monthly/weekly/daily basis just to get a simple update on the timeframe. We thought for sure that our deposit of $8,000 was gone forever and we would never get the deck we paid for. We eventually had to complain to the attorney general’s office and only then did All Decked Out show up to start and complete the project. we contacted Art within a week of him completing the project to ask about an issue we saw. He said he would stop by the next week but never did. We assumed it’s a lost cause and didn’t bother reaching out to him again. Our estimate also included All Decked Out staining our deck 6 months after it was built, but it isn’t even worth the stress to me to try to get them to come out and perform that service. It will be less of a hassle for me to just do it myself. It’s going on a year now and it’s still pretty upsetting to think about. We have a lot of other work we’d like to have done in our house but we are weary of hiring another contractor in the future due to this experience.

We contracted with this business in March of 2023 to have our deck power washed and painted. The contract stated that the job would be completed between May 15 and June 15. When I did not hear from Art by June 15, I tried without success to contact him by email, text and phone. He never responded to any communication until I had the credit card reverse the downpayment of $1000. The minute he lost the $1000, he contacted me and said that he would be there on July 10 to power wash the deck. His son did show up that day and power washed the deck. Art asked that I give his son a check for the down payment that I reversed once he was done. In my stupidity, I did give him the check. July 10th was the last I saw or heard from anyone. I have repeatedly tried contacting him without success. Yesterday, my husband appealed to his integrity, but apparently he has none as we have not heard from him. I would not ever do business with this company again. I'm not sure how he even has a contractor's license. This business does not deserve even a one star rating however, I had to put something there in order to post.

in november 2022 we entered into a contract with All Decked Out LLC and gave the company a $250 deposit. It was agreed that due to the up coming holidays and i would be traveling out of the country the project would not start until 2023. I had not heard from the company so i reached out in February 2023 after being in the hospital. I heard back via email asking if early April would be good to start the project. i replied that early April would be great. toward to end of March 2023 i reached out to get an official date in April. Never heard back was ghosted from that point on. I left phone messages, test messages, and emails with no reply. May 26, 2023 mailed a certified letter requesting my deposit returned and the cancellation of the project due to no communication. I also faxed the letter along with a copy of the contract and my supporting attempts to communicate with them. the Certified letter was never claimed at the post office. I have since contracted with Home Depot for the project and still no return of my deposit. i wouldn't even give this company one star they go lower than poor keeping a deposit for no work preformed and ghosting the client.

Another month gone by without a call, a deck, or a refund. I honestly feel scammed by this website & can’t believe this company had this many 5 star reviews. Art is deceitful & avoidant. All I want is a refund. I’ve reached out to the BBB & the attorney general. I guess a lawsuit is up next
