Lance and his team at ReTouch helped us stay in the Roeland Park neighborhood we've grown to love. In 2001, my wife and I settled into our 2 bed 1 bath typical North East JoCo home. By 2013 I was noticing that my two children seemed to be using "our" bathroom more than their fair share of the time. The decision was easy, rather than part with an area of the city we enjoy we worked with ReTouch to design and build up. We added two bedrooms, a bathroom and remodeled the existing bathroom. Any time you have people in your family space it's going to be stressful, but the mutual trust and respect from Lance and his team made all the difference. If you're like us and wondering if you should remodel or relocate, I highly recommend you meet with Lance and his crew to explore what's possible. I know we're glad we did!

It is rare to find general contractors with the skill-set and gifting that Lance has. He is great at managing people and processes but beyond that he cares deeply about building lasting relationships and taking the utmost care in his treatment of clients and others. He is a great communicator and a joy to be around. He is honest and possesses the highest integrity. His processes are transparent with a focus on collaboration rather than competition. As an architect it is difficult to entrust your designs to someone to be implemented but I willingly turn them over to Retouch with the full assurance that they my clients and designs will be well served. I hold Lance in the highest regard both personally and professionally and the best recommendation I know to give is that I would not hesitate to entrust him with my own project.

Kansas City Back Yard Deck | Sep 2016 | Clients had a smaller deck they wanted to add on to and extend out to an existing 1st floor living doors. Trex decking was used with a cedar and Trex combination railing. | $15k | Kansas City, MO
Maintainence Free Deck | Jul 2016 | This retired couple did not want to maintain the deck, so they choose a maintenance-free railing and decking product from Trex. | $15k | Shawnee, KS
Lake Waukomis Addition | Jun 2015 | This couple wanted two things. A beautiful view of the lake and a place where all of their kids and family could be together. The home was in disrepair and needed updating as well as a space for the grandkids to play. We reworked the floor plan and opened up the main level to allow for better visibility throughout the space. The Kitchen is IKEA cabinetry with a custom built island which houses an 8' granite slab. The Master Shower has Marble tile with a 6' Air Jet tub. | $288k | Lake Waukomis, MO
Overland Park Bathroom Remodel | May 2015 | This guest bathroom, although small, had potential, but whomever had finished it before we arrived had not done it justice. The clients asked us to come in and refinish it using all new fixtures and a brand new shower where the tub had been. We reused the existing cabinet, by making it taller so it sat at a modern day height. | $20k | Overland Park, KS
Lee's Summit Master Suite | Mar 2015 | This couple needed a space of their own separate from the rest of the house. Their Craftsman style house in Lee's Summit did not have the space for a Master Suite, so they looked to the Attic. After rebuilding the roof, and adding a full bathroom complete with a jetted walk-in shower, bidet and tile wainscot, this couple can now enjoy their new second story. | $178k | Lees Summit, MO
Shawnee Master Bath Remodel | Feb 2015 | This family loved their Western Shawnee home. However, their Master bathrrom needed some updating. The cabinets were falling apart and the shower tile was peeling off the walls. In order to update their look, we came in with brand new tile and cabinetry for the space. The Mosiac tile connects the space as it runs along the walls of the vanity and tub. The 18x18 tile makes the floor look like one whole piece rather than breaking it up with grout lines. | $37k | Shawnee, KS
KCMO Bedroom Suite | Dec 2014 | This stately 100+ age house needed some tweaks to better fit the homeowners. Husband and wife both work a lot from home, and needed an office to accommodate them. By re-fashioning a large side-porch with large arched windows, hardwood floors and copious amounts of cherry trim and cabinetry, the old porch has been transformed into a classic working office. A pair of daughters really needed a more functional space, so the old sleeping porch/closet was reconfigured to become two large closets and a wonderfully bright full bathroom. All this in just a bit over 6 weeks! | $175k | Kansas City, MO
Kansas City Kitchen Remodel | Aug 2014 | This 1925 KCK home needed some love. The old floor plan was not working for the homeowners who loved to entertain large groups of people. And with their mother-in-law moving in with them, they were running out of space. In order to give them more room, we restructured the wall between the dining room and kitchen to allow for a larger opening and added the island with bar seating. The brand new cabinets extend to the ceiling to give them more storage as well. The farmhouse sink and butcher block give this modern day kitchen the old school feeling that it needs to blend in with the home. | $56k | Kansas City, KS
Overland Park Remodel | Mar 2014 | This growing family needed more space along with better sightlines from the kitchen for their little ones. We achieved this by opening up the main part of the home into a wide open space which hold their kitchen, dining room, and living room. We also added a new laundry room as well as a mudroom for coats and shoes. | $90k | Overland Park, KS |
