"From floor plans to Cherished Interiors... it's all in the details." I believe that it's the details of a design project, which make the difference. Texture, color, and the use of space and materials all create an environment which exudes a client's essence and lifestyle. As a designer and contractor, my goal is to create unique and innovative ideas for each individual project. From there the process flows collaboratively between my client and myself to produce a visually exciting and functional design that is compatible with their lifestyle.

A "Glassy" Kitchen | Aug 2014 | The Homeowner had built their home 20 years ago and did some minor updating with adding granite counter-tops and new ceramic flooring to their kitchen along the way. They decided it was time for a more updated look that would function better. They were open to ideas, wood styles, and colors and asked to see a couple ideas before deciding on the new look. We had recently renovated their Master Bathroom and Guest Bath with success, so they already had confidence in our company. Our clients don't have any children or pets, so they wanted an adult looking kitchen great for entertaining. Based on their love of art, we suggested using thick kiln formed glass as a material for the counter-top in the seating area of the island. We took them to a local glass studio and showed them a particularly unusual piece of glass which came in several different thicknesses. It was wavy on the bottom and had pieces of multi-colored glass confetti fused to the bottom that is seen through the glass. They fell in love with it and said they were up for it! Once they agreed to use that style of glass within the design, the rest of the kitchen began to evolve. | Fitchburg, WI |
