Please stay far away...We had a contract for repairs to our home after a fire. He was given $135,000+ and after a year we had to fire him and pending theft of services chharges. After he received the money we thhen found out he does not have a license he rents a license from another crook who is listed everywhere as such. I had no electricity no floors, no plumbing no paint, not one working bathroom, no kitchen, no gutters, no HVAC, nothing but a roof for $135,000+. He contracts sub-contractors and never pays them. 'HIS HEAD FOREMAN TELLS HOMEOWNER THINGS LIKE NO WE ARE NOT DOING IT, IT NOT WHAT YOU WANT ALL THE TIME!!" Its currently costing me over $15,000 to bring suit against him. PLEASE RUN RUN RUN FROM THIS CROOK

Stay far far away from this business. We hired Ray Womack and FreshStart Construction to finish our basement. We went under contract February 2020. Here we are today June 15, 2020 and the project still isn’t complete. We’ve been expecting a trim delivery for a few days. All we get is a “my guy” is scheduled to come on this date and he doesn’t show. We have HVAC installed but no panel so we don’t know if it works. Bathroom was left a mess. Tile is cut too short from the wall. He used this cheap aluminum to frame it out which I didn’t ask for. He cut the shower wall to short from the edge of the backer board and now there’s a gap. Electrical is on but no fixture coverings. Flooring is not done. The list goes on. It’s a half assed job with a bunch of empty promises, bullshit texts, and hustling moves. I wish there was a way for me to post pictures but I can’t. I doubt if Ray is going to finish this job. If you opt to use his service you are using it at your own risk. Ray has been paid a great deal of money. Money for services he has failed to complete. Next step is legal action. It is my mission to ensure I am the last homeowner he ever bamboozles!!!

We had 3 days to get the job done and they did. We also had specific request and requirements. One and most importantly was the existing shower door had to be able to go back on the wall after this contractor installed new drywalls and tile. Well when we Tried to install the shower door the walls were too narrow and particularly the top half of one wall. I contacted the contractor at first he tried to say it was the walls but then I had to remind him he installed the walls then he said He would be back out after the holidays well after the holidays, three months in and several text messages afterwards ...he had the nerve to say he will try to squeeze me in. We haven’t heard back from him since. I hired this company we had a contract he had specific directions I paid him. But when I brought up there was a problem with the insulation and after he’s promised he would be back out to look at it and for him to give me some sarcastic remark like “I’ll see if I can squeeze you in” is ridiculous. We will have to look for another contractor who will probably want to tear the shower Down and start all over which of course is additional cost additional mess additional time. The integrity of this contractor is questionable. 😡😏

I contracted Fresh Start to do a garage cabinet/work area install. Their work and professionalism was on point. I will be using them for an upcoming basement remodeling project in early 2019.
