Clint came out and gave an estimate, said he knew we had a budget and work with it to help us. Was contracted to repair flooring to begin with and they did a good job. They then contracted to put on a roof, install a new door and repair flooring in the kitchen and install new linoleum. We paid up front for the materials. They said it would take two days to do the roof. They were no shows for several days after calling to say they were coming each day. When they did show, they worked for two days,said they had to go get different screws because they bought the wrong ones but asked if they could be paid for the job because they were so close to done. I reminded them they had to add the rake I paid for. He said, yes ok, he would get it. I paid them as they requested on 5/13/20 and they never came back. After two weeks of no shows I emailed to let them know if they did not return by 5/29/20, I would have to file a complaint. The work on the roof is poorly done. The sides are uneven with no overhang on the left side and 12 inches of overhang on the right side. When I mentioned the shoddy workmanship in the email, Clint emailed back very angry, said he gave us multiple discounts, and that they would be there Wednesday 5/27/20 to finish the job. He never showed and he never called. We have pictures of the poor workmanship. The roof was never finished and the remainder of the floors, and the door were never done. They never brought the materials we paid for either so we are just out that money. The Muskegon & State police recommended we review the business in as many places as possible so they can't keep doing this to people. We made a complaint which they accepted, but said it would require going to civil court.
