About Schultz Handyman Plus
Schultz Handyman Plus, LLC, is owned and operated by myself, Robert Schultz. I have been licensed to do business in WV and held city licenses for Morgantown and Westover since July, 2011. My handyman license is valid for up to $2,500.00/job. I take on jobs either by an hourly rate or by an estimate and work hard to keep costs very reasonable. I am honest and reliable. I have done very little formal advertising because I have a lot of repeat business and word-of-mouth advertising from satisfied clients. Many of my clients ask me for advice when they are planning their projects. I have an eye as to what looks good and what will be practical as well as give them the best return for their investment. In addition to skills gained from working on my personal residence and those of friends, I worked 18 yrs as a maintenance employee at CDC Developing Inc. where I was responsible for maintaining a large apartment complex at Lakeside Village as well as assisting in maintenance at several other properties. Following that I spent approximately 7 yrs as Maintenance Director at Chestnut Ridge Church before starting my own business. I also have skills in woodworking to produce both decorative and functional items. I perform most tasks needed to maintain a home, inside and out; however, I do not do electrical work. I have often taken care of "punch lists" or lists of items which need to be corrected before a sale can be completed.

  | Ditch Digging | Apr 2014 | I dug a 77' long ditch to run a gas line to a generator. The ditch was dug manually because of the slope of the land. The generator company supplied the gas line, caution tape, and tracer wire. I dug the ditch, laid the gas pipe including the tracer wire, and added gravel dust on top of it. Next I added 6"clay dirt and placed caution tape on top of that and finished off with top soil. The generator company came in later and installed risers. I returned another day and completed the job by adding dirt around the risers. The work took me approximately 18 hours. | $550 | Morgantown, WV |
