Foothills Forestry has been providing landowners in NH,Me,Ma. with quality timber harvesting project for over 30 year's! Dan is a Certified Logger in New Hampshire and Licensed to doing forestry in Ma. where it is a requirement. In 2005 Foothills Forestry ventured into the residential tree service under the name North Face tree service. By bringing his experience in the timber industry with all his contacts he was able to work with saw mills and their procurement foresters and sell them logs from residential tree jobs. Over the year's saw mills have reluctantly purchased logs from around homes as the chances of metal is very high and costly if hit by the saw blade at the mill. I personally inspect and metal detect every tree to insure a contaminated log doesn't make it to the purchasing mill. This trust between me and the mill has enabled me to get paid for my logs and therefore allow me to take down tree's around people's homes very reasonable and in fact in some cases free! About 70% percent of our work is done for no charge however you as the property owner will have a big mess to deal with however most people find this a small price to pay compared to the absorbent prices that most tree service companies charge. We offer services in all of NH,Southern Me. And Northern Massachusetts mainly east of Chelmsford to the coast and north of the 495 corridor.
