Mike McKinney did a remodel for me in 2019. I am still getting work redone. The flooring had to be straighten out. The kitchen redone. Had to buy a new counter top. This morning I looked behind a mirror he put up in my bathroom. It had holds that had what looks like insulation stuck in each on. That is what prompted me to look him up again. I am still redoing things in my home. Costly using him. Don’t let him in your home he is not a licensed contractor. And above all he is not honest nor does he have integrity.

Mike McKinney ,LLC is hands down the worst contractor I have ever used. All of your worst nightmares and fears will come true if you use this guy or his company. I question if he even has a license. He is a scam artist . Buyer beware..You have been warned ! The quality of work is below any level of respectability and he did not finish. He lacks integrity and will say anything to get the job.Please notice that the other good reviews on this site are written by him, SO DO NOT BE FOOLED. I now have to fix the work (if you want to humor yourself and call it work) he did and pay for a new company to redo. This is a lesson learned PLEASE VET ALL CONTRACTORS or pay the price of dealing with low integrity individuals looking for a quick buck !

Don’t hire Mike McKinney for anything more complicated than laminate install. This guy professes to be a general contractor, he is not! If you want to pay low prices and are willing to wait forever for your job to be done and are OK with him cutting corners, then this is the guy you should hire. But if you want the job done to code and you want it done in a timely manner, do not hire Mike. He talks a big talk, But at the end of the day he’s lazy and sensitive to constructive criticism. He did my job in the wrong order and with delayed my project for weeks. He was in over his head and did processes unconventionally. Had to fire him and hire a new contractor to finish work.
