Project was started on 2/26/2019 I had a flooded basement and this was to pump out basement and replace or repair damage. The total costs came out to around $39,000 I have paid all but $3,000 of this and as of 9/29/2019 the work is less than 85% done. I put in a complaint to the BBB and I received a reply that I needed to find another contractor. Never use this company.

My experience is like everyone else. We paid them to do a lot of work on our home. What they did was make our problems worse. We hired them to do several jobs in our home. They started with waterproofing our basement and building 2 closets. The basement leaks worse now than it did before they began. The coverings they put on the walls are not even attached. There are streams coming in all over the place. We have areas that leak now that didn't before they began. The closets aren't big enough to fit the doors they had us purchase. There are still wires hanging from a light fixture in one of them. The shelves are just a board and a gas line for the rod. They never showed up on time and many days not at all. They hire unskilled workers. They promise things they cannot do. James and Ralph are not on the same page at all. They got to where they just would no longer respond to our communication. We have contacted an attorney regarding our issues. If I could give zero stars I would.

Less than mediocre and unprofessional We had hired James to install a tile drainage system, sump pump and sealing of our foundation. In our contract, we agreed to corrugated 4-inch pipe around the interior of the foundation, leveling-out of the gravel, putting in the sump pump, electrical connections for it, corrugated pipes around the exterior of the foundation, sealing the foundation blocks with tar, plastic installed J-channel, and those drains feeding into an existing basin that would pump water out, into a dry well 30-40 feet away. A few weeks prior to hiring Zeger and Sons LLC, we had rented an excavator and tried installing a leech pipe to help drain our backyards. We didn't grade it correctly and started getting standing water in the middle. This was one of our main reasons we were looking for an “expert”. After the first day that James and his workers came, he said our system was “sh*t” and they couldn't tie into it. It wasn't deep enough and the water would just freeze in the pipe. It needed to be deeper. Regardless of who misunderstood, we agree to another $350 for them to bypass our system, and under the assumption it would be deeper. On the second day, most of the outside perimeter had been dug out and they had started tarring the foundation 1-block down. We asked Ralph the next morning about sealing the blocks all the way to the footer, and his response was that we didn't pay for the tar. (But we did, it was in the contract) The north side of the house hadn't been dug either, and his response was that it wasn't needed. James came by later and said the tar would go to the footers and the north side, although it didn't need it, would be done. We were getting the impression that we were irritating them by requesting them to do the work we agreed to. It was in the contract. We came home from work on the 3rd day, it was raining out and most of the pipes had already been buried – we couldn't see much other than mud, not their fault, but we did a quick once-around and on the surface it seemed OK. Ralph finished the electrical connection for the pump, closed the crawl space door, paid, and they left assuring us that everything was great. On friday morning, when it finally stopped raining, my husband went to check the pipe that we paid an additional $350 for, because it looked like they dug up-hill, parallel to our failed-pipe, and parts of the plastic are literally sticking up out of the ground. It is not even buried in some places. He called James that morning because we had agreed to pay for the additional work to be done correctly. Not going up hill, not relying on our previous pipe, and deeper than our original – which they stated was “sh*t” and would freeze during the winter. James started swearing and yelling, saying the system will work, telling my husband he's a stupid f*cking mother f*cker, and everything else in the book. The phone call was recorded. Ralph texted us and requested we call him back. He seemed much more understanding of the frustration and promised to correct the problem. We had asked that James not accompany them, given that he said we were stupid mother f*ckers that just fix f*cking phones. (His exact words) It's been 3 weeks and no one has returned. On the following Sunday, we went into the crawl space to see if there was water, the pipe for the pump, the plastic, the gigantic hole in our foundation... The pipe connected to the sump pump is about 3 feet long and has no support. It exits out a 7-8 inch diameter hole through our foundation block. If I had to take a guess, it looks like someone took a thin drill bit and drilled 5 holes, then smashed the opening, leaving a giant, jagged hole that dirt falls back in through. The pipe from the pump has no bracing and it jolts every time it turns on, causing a separation where they're joined and was leaking. We were able to fix these issues ourselves. We were supposed to have corrugate pipe installed around the interior portion of the foundation. It was in the contract. But none of the earth is disturbed around any part of the interior perimeter. We've dug down several feet with small shovels in several spots. They simply didn't do it. Overall, this is a terribly-run operation. Some of the workers were great, but the end result was terrible and that last phone call with James was completely and utterly unprofessional. There is no point in reaching out and asking them to honor their work – they have no intentions once you've paid them. The quality of their work was mediocre at best, if you consider a gaping hole in your foundation and pipes sticking out of the ground acceptable, or not done at all, like the interior pipe. “It's not needed.” But that's part of what we paid you for. We would not have agreed to pay for something not needed. And we would not have paid for an additional pipe in the back yard if it was going to be less effective than the one you said was “sh*t”. “Water will go up when it builds up.” - recorded conversation with Ralph.

Multiple times, they did not show up at the time they promised to come to do the job. At the end, they left without doing the job but they kept the deposit.. Now, we are trying to get out money back. My experience with this company is they are not reliable. They seem to be looking for a way to get your money but not complete the. They are fraud. I am highly suspicous of the high reviews they got. It is by the same person written the same day. Does not look genuine. If my experience means anything, they are fraud. Avoid these guys.
