Do NOT hire this con artist. He is a master manipulator and always has an excuse and lies ready to hand you. We hired him last August 2017 for a deck and roof. My husband called constantly. Andrew always had an excuse. This went on til April 2018 and we said enough is enough and we are done. Give us the money back. He agreed to that. He owed us 7500.00. He paid us 1,000. that was back in early summer 2018. Since then we cannot get anything from him. We call all the time and e mailed. He always has an excuse. We hired an attorney in August and Andrew gave the attorney the run around too. He told him he would pay on such and such a date, then emailed that he didn't have it and you all know how the rest of the story goes. He has scammed sooo many people. The Newark Police Department want anyone that got hosed by him to call them. We did that after giving him many opportunities and he hasn't given any money at all. He sat on my couch and lied to my face about the roofing job. He needed to get work for his guys to keep them busy. He said he already had materials from another job and he made us a deal and needed 2,000. He said the materials would be there and the guys would start work right away. That never happened. Nary a nail or a splinter of wood ever came to our house. If he has done you dirty, please call the newark PD I only gave one star because it wouldn't let me leave the star thing blank

Grace Restoration has to be the worst contractor I have ever seen . He talked a good job in order for us to hire him . I found several flaws in the workmanship of the deck project after the so called completion . First of all he started the project late . I had a hard time getting him or his crew here to do there work . It seemed like I had to call him daily and he always had a lame excuse for not showing up . The only time he showed up on time was to collect money . He wanted me to make the final payment before the job was complete but I refused and he pouted like a little child. Needless to say after the project was complete the vinyl lattice he installed was put on improperly and started to come lose and fall he promised to come back in spring and redo it . I tried contacting him several time and got no response. I had his address and drove to his residence talked to his wife she called him and he finally contacted me with the game of excuses again . I went out of town for a couple weeks when I got back I contacted him again and he said his son had passed away and he would need a week or two to get back on his feet . When I contacted him again after a couple week he said that his sons funeral had financially burdened him and he could not make repairs. I went to lumber yard where he purchased all his material and the people there gave me the proper instructions on how to complete the lattice correctly . So I purchased the material and will do the work myself . He said he would repay me but I won’t hold my breath.

My disappointment expressed in this review is far more than I can write in words. I have never come across this level of unprofessionalism from any kind of business so far. I am sharing this experience so that anyone who is planning to hire grace restoration LLC for their home improvement make an educated decision and know what they are signing up for. We were contacted by grace restoration as a result of an inquiry we put in thumbtack for building a new composite deck. We were contacted very quickly by Andrew who mentioned was the owner of the company. We were then consulted about the size, materials, design and were quoted the price. Since we just started inquiring and getting quotes we had mentioned that we will be needing few days to decide. During that initial phase, Andrew was very attentive to all our questions and thoroughly followed up with us and was able to convince us to sign the contract. We decided to sign the contract and we were told to pay the deposit right away to secure the delivery timeline. We were assured that once the city and county permit gets approved, the deck build will start right away. Believing that, we signed the contract and paid the deposit. And that is when everything went downhill. We followed up with Andrew to check on the permit status, and provided him with our HOA approval. After multiple follow ups he mentioned that the approval was received. So we expected what was agreed upon, which was to start the deck build right after the permit. That's when we found out that we were misled. He mentioned about the start date being delayed due to the existing project engagement he had. We are understanding people, and we understand that sometimes things does not go as planned, so we told him to assess his current project and let us know the date he is able to start our build. After several days and after multiple follow ups he let us know that he will be able to start and finish our deck before end of July. We patiently waited till July 24th and we did not hear from him about any plans of either measuring and dropping any materials at our home. So we had to call him again and after a long conversation he told us that he will be able to start before august and we believed his words again. As expected he had not planned on getting this started at all, so our frustration was obvious. We had spent so much of our time and effort on trying get someone to comply with the agreement they made and to add to that instead of him calling us to let us know things are not going as planned, we were having to call him to ask him what the hold up was and in response we would get all kinds of reasons. If a job was impossible to do because of whatever the reason was, professionally we expect that a business let us know that they cannot meet our timeline expectations and refund our deposit. But we were just left hanging with "we are almost done and almost ready to start" for the entire two months. We had lost so much time, energy that we were very stressed by this, and the excitement of wanting to have a new deck built had turned into a very horrible experience. After over 2 months of headache we finally decided to ask our refund back because there was no way we could trust someone like Andrew to get the job done right when it was such a big struggle to start. To those who want to get anything built by Grace restoration LLC, please think twice before you sign and pay your deposit. If possible try to get the work started before you decide to pay anything out of your pocket. We just hope that no one would have to go through this terrible experience we had to go through. P.S. Grace restoration LLC is actually a big DisGrace
