I have been selected by Houzz community as winner of 2013, 2014 and 2015 'BEST OF REMODELING' CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. IF you got to houzz.com/pro/interioranalysis you can see all my customer reviews. I've been designing and remodeling homes for over 40 years. My main forte is Space Planning. Making unworkable space workable. I work a lot with Real Estate agents. When a client sees a house and basically likes BUTit, I am called in to make the space work for them. Reworking spaces, moving front doors, etc. I have been a contractor renovating Brown Stones in New York City, and building/designing homes in upstate New York as well. I know construction and have an uncanny ability to guesstimate what a job should cost. Also been published many time and have worked around the world,

Three seasoned room | Oct 2013 | Post and Beam three seasoned room withFire place and Pizza oven. Floors are reclaimed Oak | $70k | Woodstock, NY
New Master Bathroom | Aug 2013 | This was a room designated for a bathroom but never completed. The new bathroom now has a steam-room and tub. The toilet is hidden behind a privacy wall. The vanity was made out of an old dinning-room table that we cut in half. The floor and vanity wall is made out of cork with separate medicine cabinets on either side of the sink. Of course, all new lighting. | $30k | Mount Tremper, NY
N.Y. City Condo | Aug 2013 | Totally gutted apartment in a 100 year old building. In the living room on either side of the banquet are 8' high antique doors leading into guest bedroom. When doors are opened you can"t see the bed. Living room seems much larger and is much lighter. The foyer has two different color silver striped painted walls. The master bedroom head-board is made of old wood paneling with antique theater hanging lamps hanging over end tables which are made of old coffin stands. In the master bath the shower light comes out of a recess which floods the wall. On the end of the vanity is a hidden flip down compartment to hold tooth brush, etc. The walk-in closet has a large Baroque mirror for whimsey. The guest bedroom closets are hidden behind framed antique Chinese scrolls. They are visible from the living-room when doors are opened. The kitchen door is made like a restaurant swinging door with a port-hole window and padded leather covering. | $100k | New York, NY
New renovated bedroom | Aug 2013 | This bedroom was so large it was uncomfortable. By building a free standing closet I divided the space in two. Doing this created a dressing area and privacy to the bathroom. Now the bed faces the wonderful mountain views. | $15k | Mount Tremper, NY
N.Y.City Co-op Renovation | Aug 2013 | This upper West Side prewar apartment had a 10 by 8 kitchen and dinette. The area was so small that the refrigerator was in the dinette. By removing the wall the kitchen is now opened to the living room giving it a loft like space. There is now more than 5 times the storage space. By not having any cabinetry on the back wall and all appliances hidden, the kitchen looks very sleek and the back wall is now a place for art . The back splash to the stove is a reworked photograph of the owners that we manipulated and enlarged. | $50k | New York, NY
Renovated City Duplex | Aug 2013 | Totally renovated two story apartment in a west side brownstone. Living room furniture set around a gas fireplace. Living room opens up to the back yard. The kitchen is in the extension. The bedrooms are below grade so I made the area light and airy using mirrors to reflect light. A free standing wall with TV facing bed and dressing area behind gives privacy. | $80k | Mount Tremper, NY
New screened in porch | Aug 2013 | New screened in porch. I painted the floor chartreuse and used a complementary stripe fabric on the built in banquet. I used stainless steel cable as railing so you could see the garden and view. and placing sixties metal table and chairs that you could see through so the view became the focal point. | $50k | Mount Tremper, NY
Cabin in the woods | Aug 2013 | Custom build "Swedish Cope" "Log Home" home which I designed and has been featured in Log Home Living and Cabin Fever (a table top book). The Foyer has a 7' high tin ceiling which emphasizes the 30' high living room. The Maple floors, which is a non grainy wood to be in contrast to the logs have "radiant heating". The custom made kitchen cabinets are raped in" Galvanized metal" and have gotten better with age. The master bath has reclaimed wide plank floor and the antique Tub is of copper. The guest bath sink is made from a hand made salad bowl and the faucets are cheap out door ones. The wall behind the guest bed is made of rusted steel panels. and my Studio is a loft over looking the living room. | $5m | Mount Tremper, NY
Renovated Kitchen | Aug 2013 | Before and after pictures of renovated kitchen. The owners love to cook and needed more storage. I gutted her sixties kitchen and removed all upper cabinets. (She did not want to because she thought there wouldn't be enough storage. I guaranteed her she would), I took out the studs from behind the refrigerator and was able to move it flush with the wall ovens. I removed the unused desk and made floor to ceiling 2' deep storage with pull out shelves. | $30k | Mount Tremper, NY |
