James has helped my family for years with many projects and requests for the improvement of our homes. He goes out of his way to complete projects and shows up if there's an emergency. For example, he painted my interior, remodeled a bathroom, and even figured out a way to make another bathroom in my downstairs area, without losing any inside space. He's fixed washing machines, fences, did beautiful tile work on kitchen and 2 bathrooms, installed carpets, built a beautiful indoor gate for the dog & baby...and many more projects I have forgotten. Today he fixed a broken door handle. When my pipes froze a couple of years ago, I called him in the middle of the night and he instructed me exactly what to do. Also built a memorial garden for my mother in our back yard. Great work, personable and very trustworthy.

That should have been one star, not two. I can't correct the computers mistake. This man was very nice. But he misled me. We had me once or twice to discuss the project. We were ready to start the project and he told me to get the permit (I told him I could in two days...on Thursday), and call him that Thursday as soon as I had the permit, and we would go to buy materials. He needed me to go with him to pay. And he planned to start on the project by the following week. Thursday I got the permit and called him. He answered very quietly. I asked why he was so quiet and he said he was hunting. I said Ok I have the permit. He said he would call me when he wasn't hunting. No call. Two days later I called and left a message for him to please call me if he was still wanting to do the job. No call. He cost me time. He put me back at square one, which eventually caused enough delays to cause weather issues.
