I don't believe in cutting corners when it comes to quality of work. What I do believe is finding the most economical and efficient way to provide you with the highest level of work there is. Knowing that the work I do will last gives me a sense of pride. You want quality that you can trust for a true and fair price and I want a lifetime customer. That is what Done Right represents. I have over 20 years in mechanical maintenance, construction, landscaping, electric, welding and carpentry trades. I enjoy creating and love to do custom work. Bring me your ideas, we can make them come to life. Indoors or out, no job too small. Don't be afraid to ask!

I love how creative Charlie is when it comes to helping you solve a problem. We had somewhat of a nightmare when it came to installing Quartz counter tops with a professional home remodeling company and Charlie came up with great ideas to solve the problems this company had left us with. They even ended up cutting him a check for saving us from an emergency plumbing issue that flooded our kitchen due to their poor sink and plumbing installation. He has a way of making your problems feel like his own. We ended up with a "corrected" breakfast bar and beautiful beadboard and chair rail throughout our dining room. He definitely saved us from the despair of a botched construction job.

I have two rental homes and have been using Charlie for all of their upkeep. He remodeled my bathroom for me once and I have been using him ever since! What a job! We attempted a DIY...BIG MISTAKE! Ran into mold and ended up calling Charlie. He made us feel like we were his first priority and even walked us through the work as he did it in case we ever wanted to try again. Probably not.. a little less stressful watching him do the job! and for the price we were thrilled to ask him to complete the entire bathroom in new tile, sink, toilet, remove the mold and tile our shower. It turned out beautiful. Since then we have called him for any other need we have for our rentals. He discovered original hard wood in our newest home, pulled up the carpet and refinished them, new paint throughout, water-heater replacement( I guess we're not so good at the DIY!) He definitely makes the extra effort and is generous with information. Thanks Charlie!

Kitchen/Dining Reno | Oct 2015 | This kitchen/Dining renovation was done in stages at different times. My customer was working with a licensed countertop company so we started out knocking down the wall that was dividing the kitchen and dining space so that a breakfast bar could be put it. I charged a fee of $375 to cut the wall out and dispose. Later I came back in and did a custom faux finish on the existing cabinets. The finish was chosen and purchased by my client and I completed for $499. Due to some issues with the breakfast bar istallation(countertop company) which left the outer drywall open, this client had me return to install beadboard and chair railing throughout their dining room to solve the issues and dress up the room. For this I charged $499 labor only. The materials ran $300. | $1k | Murrieta, CA
Custom Furniture refinish | Sep 2015 | This piece was an antique stained dresser with some dark discolorations. We decided to go with a shabby look by layering two shades of paint. The paint was applied thick and uneven with apparent brush strokes for a dramatic look then spot sanded and waxed. With all of the detail in the wood, it turned out great!! | $150 | Murrieta, CA

Kingsburg Vintage Gem | Mar 2015 | Customer had me come out to quote tile installation in her living/dining room areas. The home was built in the 40's and i informed sometimes these homes still contained original hardwood flooring. We peeled up a corner of the laminate and low and behold original hardwood throughout the entire house. The previous owners had covered with laminate and had not disclosed. My customers were thrilled they were able to return the tile they had chosen and opted to polish and keep the wood. The house was 1200 sq ft. I removed carpet from 2 bedrooms and hallway and peeled up the laminate in the remaining areas of the home. luckily they were in great condition and I was able to buff the wood to a beautiful finish. I charged a total of $475 including removal and dump fees. | $475 | Kingsburg, CA
