Hello, my name is Roger Thomas Jr. I am 47 years old . I have been working in the plumbing trade since I was 18 years old. I started my journeyman training with Jim Blanton Plumbing Inc. There I worked under Douglas, Jim and Jamie Blanton. I began working on new construction and service work. New construction consists of new homes built by contractors. Service work consists of installation and repairs of toilets, sinks, pumps and much more. Each of these nine years that I work for Jim Blanton Plumbing I built up a resume of learning fast and working hard. When I was 27 years old I knew that this was the career choice that would bring me satisfaction in my life. When Douglas Blanton, owner of Blanton Plumbing Inc, came to me and asked me to work for him, I gladly accepted the offer. Working by Mr. Blanton side I started to blossom at everything that I did. At that time Blanton Plumbing Inc was a brand new company, which worked on commercial jobs, residential homes, and service work. I found eagerness in what I did, and put my 110% effort and pride into each job, and every customer. It wasn’t long before Blanton Plumbing was a thriving company built on the values of great service. AT this point in my career I had become Mr. Blanton right hand man. I over scene every aspect of the company daily activities with or without Mr. Blanton, it was than I knew I needed to move to the next step in my career and become a Florida State License Master Plumber. In the year 2007 I began going to school to become a Master Plumber and by 2008 I became a Florida State License Master Plumber. I owe a lot to Douglas Blanton he has been my mentor and I am thankful for what he has taught me about the trade. Words are not enough to say how appreciative I am for the opportunity he gave me to work under him. But, I have been in this business for over 30 years and I am ready to take on my own jobs and my own clientele.
