Bright Family Room - Naperville, IL | Mar 2015 | Believe it or not, this room is in a sub-basement! We focused on light colors to keep the space from feeling like a cave. The room was completely transformed--new flooring, lots of paint, great furniture, and colorful accessories. Now the space feels happy and inviting, perfect for entertaining. | $3k | Naperville, IL
Lori's Guest Bedroom | Dec 2014 | This guest room came together very affordably! Lori, the homeowner, wanted to keep the existing furniture, but was willing to change everything else--so we did! New bedding, window treatments, accessories, and an upholstered headboard later we had a brand new space on our hands. | $750 | Marshall, IL
Naperville Bathroom Update | Sep 2014 | This bathroom only needed $250 in materials to transform. We selected a new countertop, mirror, faucet, and accessories. All of the work was done in one weekend, and goes to show that not every space needs new everything to feel fresh. I hope this is great inspiration for clients with a small budget or who want to get hands-on with an approachable DIY project. | $250 | Naperville, IL
Meg's Guest Room Makeover | Apr 2014 | Meg needed to re-vamp her guest room on a budget. I created an e-design board for her, complete with specific product recommendations and DIY projects suited to her space. We emailed to discuss the details of her project, then I sent the completed board her way. She and her husband were able to execute the ideas themselves and the room turned out beautifully! So much brighter and happier for their guests. | $750 | Wakefield, MA
Modern Bathroom Remodel - Romeoville, IL | Jul 2013 | Darlene needed to remodel her bathroom after discovering a plumbing issue. Because of the repairs, her design budget was tight. We emailed about her style preferences, and then I put together an e-design board with specific product recommendations. She and her husband were able to use it as a guideline when they picked finishes--and they love how the room turned out! | $5k | Romeoville, IL
White Kitchen - Naperville, IL | Sep 2013 | This kitchen is very long and narrow, with only one small window above the sink and a glass door at the other end of the room. The original oak cabinets made the space feel extremely dark, so those were painted white--along with the trim, bulkhead, and chair rail. Thanks to the new paint bouncing the light around, it's much more pleasant to be in there. We also found a handful of colorful accessories, like that gorgeous cobalt blue rug. | Naperville, IL |
