This custom home offers an open floor plan creating a spacious environment for entertaining family and friends. It is unique in its two-story courtyard style, which encompasses plenty of coastal touches inside and out. On the first floor of the home, you will find the kitchen, master suite, family, dining, and living rooms and upstairs there are three guest bedrooms and a media room. The entire rear of the home maximizes views with plenty of windows and a second-floor wrap-around deck. An upper deck sits a few steps above a second-story entertainment area to provide striking water views. Although the homes exterior appears from a distance to be made of board or lap siding, the vertical and horizontal lines were carefully formed by a cement craftsman. Use of natural elements, such as wood and woven materials in the homes interior design and furnishings, along with wooden beams on the ceiling and exterior, provide a seamless thread from indoors to outside. Upon entering the home, you immediately feel welcome with the parlor of the home leading into the outdoor living. Within this space you will find multiple seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, bath, pool and spa, fire pit and an insect repellent system, thus creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. The homes indoor living area welcomes guests with wood accents, oversized pillows, and furniture with rounded shapes that are soft and inviting. The use of windows, natural light and white palettes help make the indoor spaces feel larger. The kitchen is transitional and feminine. Coastal elements with natural, earthy finishes warm up the space. However the stainless steel appliances and oversized pendant lights provide a stroke of modern sparkle. Throughout the home, design elements such as ceiling coffers with painted poplar in a tongue-and-groove design and distressed oak flooring maintain natural, warm luxury. This home contains many energy efficient (green) features such as: a solar photovoltaic system, a solar water heater system with copper piping, Icynene spray foam insulation, color-changing LED lighting throughout the interior of the home, an Ultra Efficient Mitsubishi HVAC system and two fire thousand gallon water cisterns to be used for the irrigation and septic water.
