Don't deal with this or any other modular manufacturer or contractor without a detailed and actionable written contract. I was told to expect my "turn key" home in July or August and work was still being done in January. Heckaman told me there had been on complaints about my contractor, but when things went south, I found that they had trained the receptionist not to take complaints. The modules sat on Heckaman's lot for over a month and arrived full of bugs that I am still fighting. Many nail holes weren't filled. Trim was often poorly mitered. There was no trim at the sides of stair treads. Standard cabinetry looked okay but several pieces have already some loose for no apparent reason and one piece of floor trim is missing all together. Some interior walls were noticeably not square. Standard toilets don't flush properly even when adjusted to exceed stated liters per flush. Pex piping burst at first use and fitting are so tiny that it takes a long time to fill the very small standard bath tubs. Textured mud was used throughout on ceilings and dry wall joint lines show in several places. Check other review sites for a number of similar complaints from others. BBB of Northern Indiana suppressed my review and complaint, so ignore their A+ rating. I would give Heckaman a zero if that were available.
