We’re giving MV Flooring the one star rating and can only describe our experience as Terrible. Marco and his crew horribly botched their first attempt at refinishing our floors. Not only was the new dark stain streaky, but there were thousands of bubbles in the polyurethane. Marco agreed that it was not right and offered to redo the floors, taking off the amount we would have to shell out for an extra week’s hotel from the total price. We were pleased with this resolution; if only it had come to fruition. Not only was the second attempt sloppier than the first (the bubbles were gone but the stain is even blotchier and there are swirl marks from the sander throughout), but Marco left the job unfinished. Even though we only asked for a $500 discount to offset the more than $1000 we spent in accommodations, Marco acted like this part of the agreement was news to him when the time came. No sooner did we give Marco his final, unearned payment did he go silent on us. Never returning our many calls and texts to come complete the two unfinished rooms. Working with MV Flooring has been a hard lesson in you get what you pay for. Marco’s price was much lower than any other quotes we received and we now know why. The thousands of dollars we paid him were a complete waste of money and we’re left with only a mess. BOTTOM LINE: Avoid MV Flooring at all costs or it will cost you.

Marco came in and did a bid for me- 1 of 4- he was chosen because he was the only one that did not upcharge for dustless, and he had no issues with leaving the shoe moldings and having my painters come in afterwards for touch ups. The work is excellent and although there were a couple issues with scratches and roller marks- he made it right with no additional charges. Communication was great- and i like the idea of helping out the small biz owner and receiving additional value by going that direction. The spend was close to $7K and was inline with 2 of the 4 bids so i figured its a reasonable pricing. The home is about 6000' and he did right around 3000' which included a Kitchen Great room which had a very dark stain- the Walnut floors in the Library look amazing and all the inlays are fantastic. This was a high end job with out the "Brentwood 25%" - which my wife and i refer to the standard uncharge you get because of your Zip Code- These guys are great, clean, reasonable and easy to deal with. Paid 1/2 after the sanding and staining and the balance on completion - the only reason he isn't getting 5 stars is because of the scratch in the master- which they did fix for me ;)

Marco redid the parquet floors in our kitchen and did an excellent job. He and his team were very professional. The floors are beautiful and the price was exactly as estimated and very reasonable. I highly recommend MV Flooring.
