AWFUL experience from beginning to end. Sales guy misinformed installers about the type of flooring we had (floating vs. glued) and misquoted us the length of the project. He didn’t even ASK us which we had, he just ASSumed. If we had been informed of the length of the project AND the amount of destruction that we would have in the process we would have either not proceeded or we would have made other arrangements so that we did not have to come out of pocket for things like boarding our dogs, meals outside of our home and my husband's lost wages. EMPIRE Today apparently does not stand by their sales people as they are independent contractors. Installers showed up and didn’t have the correct equipment. Installers stated the project would take longer but didn’t state how much longer. They also stated it would be very dusty but they did NOT describe the amount of destruction our floors would be under during the project. Sales guy also ordered the wrong molding for our kitchen, delaying the project even further. Installers damaged our baseboards, and the molding installation was done extremely poorly. Empire is not taking responsibility for ANY of it. Will NEVER use them again.
