Glendale Home modernized with 2 bathroom remodels

Dec 2014

The owners of this home sought to update and modernize their dated and cramped bathroom areas. Our team designed and created a spa-like master suite just off of the master bedroom, which included a double bowl exotic fir vanity with quartz top, custom tiled shower with integrated quartz shower bench which flowed in to the tub deck, and an undermount Kohler soaker tub. A his and her walk-in closet was also incorporated near an existing bank of windows, allowing ample natural light to shine into that area. The perfect sized 2 piece powder room was added just adjacent to the guest bedroom, but still in the main hallway, allowing it to service both overnight and daily guests alike. The end result? A truly unique reflection of our client's own personal taste and our talented team's design build capabilities.

Wauwatosa Master Suite

Jun 2014

The owners had an over-sized master bedroom on the 2nd floor which lacked a connected master bathroom. We were able to design and construct a new 3 piece master bathroom by borrowing one end of the existing space. The new layout consisted of a custom walk in shower with heavy glass enclosure, single bowl lav and makeup vanity, both with custom stone countertops. Floors were tiled with a natural rectangular travertine. We also remodeled 2 small closets by enlarging the door openings, adding new bifold door units, and building custom closet systems in each. Voila - master suite - complete!!

Pewaukee, WI Lower Level Remodel

Jan 2014

This basement was a blank canvas with masonry walls and an unfinished laundry area and workout room. Our team built out walls for the new workout, media, game, kitchenette, bath, and laundry areas, including a pair of dramatic arches to separate the media and game rooms. We also removed the existing staircase and replaced it with a custom built stair. The clients chose custom cherry columns and cabinets, which were designed, built, and installed by our team. We also constructed a unique swinging bookshelf to provide access to the underside of the stair. The cabinets were accented with granite tops and a natural stone and glass backsplash. The client wanted a practical light design, incorporating L.E.D. accent lights throughout the cabinetry and staircase. A hard surface floor was installed throughout the kitchenette, bathroom and laundry rooms, a rubber floor in the workout room, and carpet throughout the media and game areas. The end result is a beautiful and functional extra 1200 square feet of living space.

Memomonee Falls Kitchen & Bathroom Remodel

Jan 2013

Simultaneous Satisfaction! Our team was asked to redesign the kitchen layout and also the overall look of the master bathroom and remodel both areas at the same time. All while still allowing our homeowners and their family to stay (for the most part) fully functional based on the typical day to day routines. The homeowners worked closely with our cabinet designer Gwen Adair on both the kitchen and bathroom spaces and the result was nothing short of spectacular. The creative a functional shape of the peninsula area allowed not only the desired amount of work space and storage, but also a way to keep the masses out of that area during family get togethers allowing the chef to focus on the task at hand. Dura Supreme cabinetry in cherry was used for the kitchen along with 2 different types of granite for the counter tops. New stainless steel appliances were used throughout including a wine beverage fridge with dual temp controls. A large format 16x16 porcelain tile laid on a diagonal was used throughout the kitchen, down the main hallway, into the laundry room, half bath, and back hallway including the closet space to give the area a very connected feel. The master bath was given the full treatment as well. We were able to recess the shower floor area giving our client a zero clearance threshold from the main bath floor into the shower area. Schluter Systems shower components were used to fully water proof the shower area and even tie into the ditra tile underlayment creating a true waterproof environment. A unique blend of porcelain and glass tile was used in both the shower and across the floors to create the desired results. 2 small recessed niches were used along with the deco glass tile again to maintain continuity. Maple Dura Supreme cabinetry was used along with a granite top which housed a double bowl set up consisting of broken glass vessel bowls and tall vessel style faucets.

Whitefish Bay Kitchen Remodel

Jan 2013

Out with the old, and in with the WOW/GORGEOUS! Our client asked for a full gut and update of her current (40's/50's) look. We started with yet a another unique and great design by Gwen Adair and the end result was absolutely amazing. Painted gray Dura Supreme Cabinetry was used in most areas and then a classic white painted look with inset doors for another specific area to add some pizazz. A white flecked quartz top material was used along with a white subway back-splash tile, and kohler farm house style sink to create this look. Higher end appliances were pulled in to complete the look which included Jenn Air, samsung, kitchen aid, and GE. Hardwood floors were laced in and refinished with a dark stain for that rich appearance.

Hales Corners Kitchen Remodel

Jan 2013

Our client had a ranch home that had your typical load bearing wall that divided the kitchen and family room areas, and decided it was time for that old wall to go and obtain that open concept they had always yearned for. An engineered beam was spec'd along with some creative relocating of mechanical items, and away went the obtrusive wall! A new layout for the kitchen was designed by Gwen Adair. High end Dura Supreme Cabinetry along with a combination of quartz and natural granite counter tops were utilized to give this space what it truly deserved. Cherry wood was used for the main cabinets along the walls and a quarter sawn oak for the island to provide some unique contrast. A Wolf gas cooktop along with an island hood by Zephyr were installed for the main cooking area in the island and a combination of Kitchenaid and Samsung were included for the balance of the appliances. We were able to obtain the same flooring to patch in the areas where the wall once lived and really tie the new open floorplan together. Modern touches were chosen for the lighting, backsplash, and cabinet hardware which gave this look exactly what it was demanding.

Master Bathroom Build Out

Jan 2013

We added this full bathroom to our clients attic space as a part of a larger whole home renovation. Classic touches were used throughout including white painted cabinetry, chrome fixtures and finishes, marble tops, white and glass tile accents, and a stand alone soaker tub unit. Creativity flowed when our design team along with our homeowner were able to create the unique curved wall surrounding the tub area, allowing the tub filler to be mounted vertically. A custom mirror frame was created with the accent tile and sleek metal border trim to help pull the overall look together.

Greendale Kitchen Remodel

Jan 2012

The client of this Greendale original wanted to brighten up the kitchen that left us with some interesting challenges after finding some problems left from a past remodeler. We first sat down with the client and worked out a design that met her needs. The design included relocating the refrigerator into an existing wall which meant cutting through an existing concrete wall to create the room needed. We then removed all of the dark cabinetry and laminate countertops updating the kitchens electrical to include recessed can lights, interior and under cabinet lights and to complete the look toe kick light on a motion sensor that allows the lights to turn on when the client enters the room. The client decided on a shaker style cabinet with a white ice finish including custom pull out waste baskets, towel bars, utensil drawers and soft close doors and drawers. The look was then completed with Quartz counter tops, tile backsplash and motion sensitive plumbing fixtures.
