Able Home Inspections, Inc. is independently owned and operated by James F. Murray. With over thirty years of experience in construction and carpentry work, he has an edge up on other Home Inspectors. He has built homes from the inside out and has done carpentry work such as bathroom & kitchen renovations; wainscoting; sheet rocking; moldings; extensions; dormers; roofs; vaulted ceilings; siding; decks; windows and many other projects. Jim’s education includes, CW Post’s Home Inspection Certificate Program along with SUNY Ulster Community College’s Practical Inspection Course. He is a licensed Home Inspector in the state of New York covering Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Counties. Jim retired from the New York City Police Department Building Maintenance Roofing Division after 20 years as a Police Officer in October 2010.
