Appliance Surgeons

I was forced to use Appliance Surgeons because my Home Warranty service apparently contracts with them. First, they did NOT call me or return my call until the next day even though my service request was put in at 12:41 and we were without a stove/oven with children and elderly in the house. Second, when they finally called the next day, they were pretty rude considering that I explained to them the exact issue - per the gas company. They eventually came out to my house to "take a look". Looked, determined that what I said was correct, made us write them a check before completing the work so they could get the part from across town. They advised they would be back either later that afternoon or the next morning to complete (start) the repair. They did NOT come back that day or the next. It's now Friday and the request was initially sent to them on Tuesday, I have not heard from them or been able to get in touch with them since they came to the house and took my money without doing any work with the exception of the day after they came when I spoke with a person who said the technician should be back in about 20 minutes and would call me back then - which obviously never happened. I have called numerous times as has my husband AND our Home Warranty company and no one has been able to get back in touch with them nor have they attempted to call or even just show up to do the work. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Stay away from this company. They were sent to us on our Select Home Warranty plan. They show up to assess warranty work without calling first, make a diagnosis, collect their deductible and then you never hear from them again. Try to call them and their voice mailbox is full. Wonder why?....because there are a lot of disgruntled customers out there. This is a sham company stealing money from people. Pathetic!!!

They are very slow. On the 1st visit they identify the problem and don't fix anything. On the 2nd visit they attempt to fix it. On the 3rd visit they fixed one item. On the 4th visit... they don't even call or show up and don't return phone calls and ignore the warranty company.

The worst experience we have ever had with a repair company of any type. Our home warranty company chose this local company to repair our washing machine. It has been 30 days and we still don't have a working washing machine. They haven't returned phone calls or emails from us or our home warranty company.
