I lived in the Deco East Building for two and a half years and received experienced the most disgusting customer service. The doorman "lose" packages constantly and management is near impossible to get in touch with. I was once charged a $176 late fee for when my check was a few days late due to a major snow storm. The super is not helpful and there is always vomit and empty beer cans in the stairwell/on the roof. Someone stole a smoke detector from my apartment and the super said I would not be charged - however, I saw a charge of $50 on my security deposit return form. Additionally, I was in contact with Bibi who was EXTREMELY rude and refused to provide receipts for the smoke detector and a $1400 charge for floor repair. If the repairs really cost that much, the management company should have had no issue providing a receipt. They obviously have something to hide here. This is unacceptable. This management company is unprofessional and takes advantage of their tenants. Steer clear of the Deco East & Lalezarian.
