HMD Contracting, LLC, is a construction company located in New Orleans, LA. Thru our residential rehabilitation division we specialize in historic restoration, flooring and kitchen and bathroom remodels. Under historic restoration we offer specialized services such as window and door restoration. We differentiate ourselves by offering clients that want or need to retain the historic aspects of their homes ways to do so while making their homes more energy efficient. These services include installation of weather stripping, storm windows, and custom screens. We also specialize in flooring, and kitchen and bathroom remodels. With our in-house wood craftsmen we can offer custom built cabinets and built-ins so that we can help you create a truly unique kitchen and/or bathroom renovation. Let us help you create a kitchen any chef would be proud of. We especially love performing bathroom renovations! In our bathroom renovations, our flooring and tile specialists pay special attention to details that will ensure that your bathroom will last. These details include: waterproofing, crack isolation, floor heating and attention to detail in our tile and profile installations.

Working with a contractor has been stressful especially since hurricane Katrina, so to finally meet a contractor that is not only knowledgeable, personable and produces quality work, is a blessing! The owner does everything in her power to provide you with the best experience and I love her for that. She works with your budget and advises you of the best quality items for your project!!! I would definitely recommend HMD Contracting!!
