Before becoming a home inspector, both Scott and Jay have spent several years working in the construction industry as the Director of Field Operations and the Supervisor overseeing hundreds of restoration and remodeling projects including restoring homes involved in fires, floods, hurricanes, sinkholes, and mold. We bring this knowledge to you to help you understand the condition of your new home and suggest ways that not only will help you get any needed repairs done, but also on how to maintain this major investment you are making. At the end of the inspection we will review the report with you on your home and also provide you with a complete computer generated report that explains each item. We don't do the "check box" reports you see from other home inspectors, as they are too vague. Also included are several pictures, as well as a summary of those items in need of immediate service or repair. You'll also receive some helpful tips on seasonal maintenance, life expectancies, and remodeling costs. And we'll even give you some references to companies I trust to help you in the future.
