Gail Green is the founder and principal of Gail Green Interiors, a full-service interior design and decorating firm specializing in upscale residential and commercial projects. Educated at Columbia University and trained at architecture offices, Green has been in the design field for over thirty years. Her work has been widely published in magazines such as House Beautiful, House & Garden, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and the New York Times Sunday Magazine. Ms. Green has been a featured designer in the prestigious Kips Bay Show House and the Southampton, Greenwich, Southport Show houses and has appeared on NBC's Designer Living, Elsa Klensch's CNN's Life Styles, NBC's Today show, and in NYC taxicabs. Ms. Green has also designed window displays in New York for the Hermes 57th Street boutique and Baccarat. Her work has appeared in numerous interior design books and she has lectured widely on related topics, including those of divorce design and small space science. In addition to being a member of The Women's Forum, the Yale Club of New York, the Municipal Art Society, the Art Deco Society, the Victorian Society, and the Institute for Classical Architecture and Art, Green holds advanced degrees in rare books and literature and is a prolific writer on an array of subjects, including art, antiques, wine, and luxury goods.
