First, I listen, I look, I connect. Whether its a small project or large, I help my clients define their style (not mine), and figure out the best way to create a space that feels like an extension of themselves and their family. We work together, step by step, within budgets, lifestyle and habits, color references and style preferences. Visualizing - I found that visualizing how something will look in a room is extremely challenging for most people. That's why I've developed a variety of tools that can help my clients visualize how products or color will look in a room. From moving furniture around on the spot, to using large samples of color boards (when choosing paint colors), or computerized super-imposition of home decor products onto an existing room, all these tools help my clients make design related decisions much easier, and more confidently.

newton kitchen renovation | Oct 2013 | This residential Newton based kitchen needed a makeover. The dark wood cabinets, vinyl flooring and laminate countertop did not appeal anymore. However, since the cabinets were in good condition and the layout was working, we decided to update the kitchen by replacing the flooring with white oak floors, paint the cabinets white, replace the countertop with a honed black/gray granite and replace the backsplash with glass subway tiles. We also added lighting, including undercabinet LED lights, recessed ceiling lights and a glass pendant over the sink. http://veredrosendesign.blogspot.com/2012/07/lighting-can-fix-design-glitch.html | Newton Highlands, MA | ||
