I hired Tom Verzino and his team to cut out a 4 foot wall in my kitchen. I was told two weeks but it ended up being 2 months. His crew would show up about 2 hours a day and that was it until the end when I started getting upset. Once the project was complete he wanted me to write a review for him. Instead of writing a negative review I decided not to write one at all since it would only hurt his business. 10 months later the beam that they put in is split down the middle. Also the step they put in is loose. My wife and I have called Tom multiple times leaving voicemails on his business phone and also texting him on his personal line which he has read. He bragged at the beginning how he stands by his work and he isn’t like the rest of the contractors but he puts on a nice front but is just a sleazy contractor. I have to pay someone to fix this because I can’t have a supporting beam split down the middle. I paid him almost 4000 dollars and not even a call back. Do yourself a favor don’t walk away from Verzino Construction RUN as fast as you can because they are scam artist.
