Lewis Construction is a 100% Veteran owned and operated business. Combined, our 4 craftsmen have over 75 years of combined experience. We are active in the community and routinely sponsor events that benefit local veterans. Our business is centered on quality and integrity. Customer Service is our primary focus and we stop at no lengths to ensure our customers are happy. In all facets of business, we pride ourselves on doing things the right way, not the fast way. Projects done right take time, but they last for years and years. We are known for our work construction outdoor structures, custom trim work, remodeling, and many other custom projects. | Custom Barn Door | Oct 2015 | Customer wanted to spice up their new baby room with a barn door but were not happy with the run of the mill barn doors found online. This door is built with top quality lumber to make sure it is a square door and not a door the leans one way or the other. We used stout hardware for the door to hold the weight of the door. We also had to re-frame and drywall the opening to this closet to accommodate the larger door. | Flooring Change | Sep 2015 | Customer was sick of looking at stains on their main floor carpet and wanted something pet and kid friendly and easy to clean. We came in and tore out all the carpet. Prepped the sub floor by scraping and leveling where needing leveled. At that time we laid down a vapor barrier. | Deck to last ages | Aug 2015 | The original deck on the back of this home had a few rotted boards; however, upon further inspection the frame work underneath and the footers were in very bad shape to the point of structure failure. After demoing the old deck we dug out footer holes for 6x6 treated posts 48" deep and used 160# of concrete to set them with for great stability over the years. We used all outdoor screws and lag bolts on this deck and not a single nail for strength. We built the custom privacy wall and wrapped around into the railing for the deck. Put some skirting along the bottom to keep the critters out and debris. Along with a custom triangle pergola for some shade in the hot summer months. | $15k | Indianapolis, IN |
