I met Steve when my landscaper dropped a branch on my house. He decided it was safer to contract Steve to finish my tree job. Steve was very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. My lanscaper then introduced him to my neighbor who wanted a tree cut down on our shared property line. She hired him, paid him and off he went. Started cutting and next thing I knew was a large branch fell on the corner of my house. He assured me he would take care of it and apilogized profusely. He finished the job and it took 3 months before I heard back from him and that was only after I contacted his insurance company. They informed me he had let his insurance lag and was not covered when he cut down my neighbor's tree so I would need to talk to Steve directly on repair costs. Steve finally responded to my email and told me he had lost his phone. He said my landscaper was responsible because he contracted him. I pointed out he contracted him for my trees NOT my neighbors. He introduced him to my neighbor. Only the property owner can hire someone and in fact she had given me a copy of the check that she wrote him and that he deposited. He finally agreed to pay but he needed time bc a family member had been sick and they had to pay off that bill too. I got a quote and sent it over. He said too high and he knew someone. I said he had that oppotunity to hire someone to repair it. I said no thanks, he lost that opportunity when he disappeared and made me hunt him down and I was hiring a more reliable person that I knew was insured. I then got a second and third quote and he is not answering my emails so I now have to sue him so I can get my roof repaired. I will be reporting hm to the BBB as well as reporting to the Insurance Bureau because his website claims that he is licensed, bonded and insured. Definitely not the best business practice.

We needed to have our front yard Pear tree trimmed and made several calls to local tree service companies for an estimate. Steven Terry was the first and only professional to return our call and worked us in his schedule for immediate service to complete the job. Steven not only did a wonderful job, he gave important information to educate us on how tree limbs should be cut to avoid damaging the tree. Steven's cost at the end of the trimming was far less than previous amounts we have paid for tree service.
