Adroit Garage Doors

My wife and I had Adroit install our new garage door and opener a little over a year ago. Within that year's time there was a mechanical defect with the unit. Adroit came back to repair the issue. At which time we were charged for the repairs. We paid it. Within less than a year of the original install we have had another issue with the unit. The husband and wife team (the owners) came to my home to assess the problem. At which time the husband placed the blame of the problem on every aspect of the garage door's malfunction except on his company and the poor workmanship. He took know responsibility. He quoted me an estimate to repair the same panel in the exact same area that had been repaired by his company less than a few months prior. As we attempted to ascertain as to why the repair would be fully charged to us considering the fact that his company did the original install, his company did the repair and everything was still under the warranty he became not only unprofessional. He became verball confrontational, belligerent and aggressive in tone. So aggressive in tone, in fact, that my wife asked him to "please watch your tone" and I asked him to "lower your voice". My wife was so uncomfortable with his behavior that she walked away and didn't return. I have never experienced a company where the OWNERS of the company were not willing to "do the right thing" for their customers. Not only did they not do the right thing , but he made a point of placing blame on everything and everyone except himself and his team for the poor install from the onset. His wife tried every effort to maintain professional decorum in her husband's lack thereof. Unfortunately, it was as too little, too late. I had an independent authorized professional garage door company come to my home shortly after they left, the same day, to give me an assessment . The conclusion from them was that the installation and workmanship was done poorly and they suggested that whomever installed and/or repaired it should do it at cost this time. Adroit refused to do so. Again, the panel and hardware defect took place in the EXACT SAME location on the garage door as the repair that Adroit did a few months prior and they refused to honor their own WARRANTY!!

The owners of the company came to my home and practically blamed my wife and myself for their poor workmanship, installation and repair of my garage door.
