D&l Hardwood Flooring

Jason was above and beyond amazing when we hired him to take a look at our floors. We had just purchased our first home and had ambitious plans to replace about 300 sq ft of carpet/old hardwood with new hardwood and sand/buff the rest of the existing hardwood to freshen things up before furniture came in. He helped us do everything we wanted and kept us well within budget. Other folks we had quote this for us immediately were trying to upsell us, Jason shot straight with us and really did an amazing job to keep us within budget. He even passed along all the savings with the materials when the cost ended up being a little less then we originally estimated when it came time to order. A very pleasant surprise when just about all other jobs we’ve been completing have been coming in above the estimates. Neighbors have raved about the quality of his work and how amazing everything looks compared to what it was like prior to him coming in. Could not recommend him more! I was being told multiple weeks too by others on when they could be available, thanks to Jason having multiple crews he was able to get us on the schedule right away and within a week (basically the time needed for the new hardwood to acclimate to our house) of first talking to him everything was done. The attention to detail he paid on the job was just second to none, we had some scattered boards with wood filler and cracks left from previous owner that he replaced as part of the process and also filled in all the dowel holes the previous owners left behind from where old pipes/cables had been passed through the floor. You can not even tell what boards were replaced if you didn’t know where to look. We’ve had at least 10 people come in and look and not one has caught them and were shocked when I said they had to replace some old cracked boards. The icing on the cake really was that Jason is one of the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure to deal with, and I don’t just mean in terms of handymen/contractors but in all aspects of life period. You are foolish to look anywhere else but D&L Flooring. If we ever need or want to have more work down later on he is 100000% going to be my first and only call. I won’t even bother looking elsewhere since I know he is going to shoot straight and not BS/upsell me on things we don’t need. Tell Jason that Jeff sent you!
