Homechoice came out at request of my home warranty company to assess my nonfunctioning water heater. Their tech Matthew found a leak from the pilot gas tube. However the report they submitted to AHS falsely stated there was a part missing. AHS refused to cover the claim until I got a 2nd opinion plumber to submit correct report. Wasted $75 and went a week without hot water because of Homechoice incompetence. They probably didnt want to do the work at AHS rate and submitted false info to get claim denied so I would pay more to them directly out of pocket. Whats the worst part is that I explained it to their office girl Andrea. She brushed it aside and said management knows what the problem is not me. She was rude, implied I was lying, and refused to let me speak to managers Brian and Tony. Refused to escalate case in timely manner. Homechoice management never returned my calls. Never made effort to fix their false report and blamed me of wanting to make report say what I thought it should say. Avoid these clowns at all costs. Will waste your time and money.

First time ever I take the time to write a review about any company. Home Choice Service came to my house to check a water heater that was leaking. The told me it has to be replaced. We make an appointment to exchange it. They gave a time frame from 8:00 am to 12pm. The technician came after 1:00 pm. After he took the water heater to install the new one he said that the company order the wrong one and he will have to get the right one and be back in 1 hour. He never came back . Someone from the company left me a message that they will have to wait till Monday to replace it. Leaving me without hot water for the whole weekend in winter season. After multiple calls to the company nobody return my callls. Finally I reached the technician and he told he was going to call his manager and will call me back. He never did and I called back and didn’t responded. I will never deal with a company like this in my life . Don’t make any business with this company unless you want to get screw.

I had a leak fixed by them but it caused another issue w my kitchen sink. They needed to come back out but their hours are 8am-5pm, no weekends or late days which was a conflict w my work schedule. After 2 wks of communicating via email w Shelby Babstock I was able to finally lockdown a date. Day of the scheduled appointment I emailed Shelby Babstock to notify her I was home & requested an ETA. She then emailed me they did not hv me scheduled for that day. I followed up w the email she sent confirming the date and time; and also requested a contact number. I never received the requested information from Shelby. My home warranty company then spoke w Tony & confirmed this plumbing company will come to my home later that evening to fix the issue. When the plumber arrived he stated it wasn’t the initial issue & if I wanted it fixed I would hv to pay $125. I explained that the issue came about the day he fixed the initial issue. They did not budge on the fee & left my home w/o even attempting to help me. Long story short I fixed my issue w a $5.00 plunger and they were going to chrg me an extra $125. Bc I had already paid $100 on the initial visit. If I could rate them a 0 star I would. This experience was terrible, frustrating and exhausting. They left me feeling hopeless.
