Roy McKenzie's Tree Svc

Originally gave good reviews but after equipment breakdowns and weeks to get the job done it wasn’t a very good experience myself and a neighbor shared the cost of removing a tree and grinding the stump Mr. McKenzie ground the stump to 3 in deep He knew from the beginning we wanted to plant grass where the tree was beforehand and when we asked him to continue going deeper he got upset and said we were taking advantage of him. That was the last we saw of him. I contacted several local arborists all agree that if you’re going to plant grass above a stump needs to be 6 to 10 inches deep. In the end, We had to call another tree service to finish the stump . During the job neighbors gutter was damaged and sidewalk cracked his comment was “Ive done it dozens of times” neighbors said they didn’t care about sidewalk Mr. McKenzie said he would fix the gutter but has yet to take care of the problem that was in March. Then when I asked him for an invoice via text he asked “why we paid cash that job and he didn’t want to pay taxes on the job”. He then went on some crazy Bible banger rant in a text calling Catholics pagans and that I attacked his businesses with my comments. We chose this guy because of the price I guess you get what you pay for. Overall impression is a flyby night individual that’s out too get what he can for as little effort as possible
