About Surface By Design
Surface By Design is a custom coatings company. What started out as primarily a house painting company has slowly transformed into a very diversified coatings company. Although interior and exterior house painting is still one of our year-round services, we have been successfully adding new services that utilize unique coatings to offer our customers more choices. Our goal is to provide a service that saves you time, money, and the inconvenience of a complete tear down. We can go over any existing surface with a variety of finishes, textures, and colors. This is not only a cost-effective way of producing dramatic results in your home, but is an environmentally responsible method, as we prevent unnecessary waste from entering landfills. Whether your project involves updating your kitchen cabinets and counter tops, or a new finish on your bath tub, we've got you covered. From garage floor epoxy coatings, to interior coatings that permanently seal grout and update the color of any ceramic tile, we have a finish that's right for you.

We can install this door right into the side of your bath tub! it cost just a fraction of the other companies and it will not only save you money, but the time and frustration of having your entire bath room gutted. This is a sample of what we can offer you. a walk through door, (lifetime warranty on the seal) a safety seat, (weight limit of up to 350 lbs!) a non skid surface inside the bath tub, safety bars where needed, and a hand held shower head so you can control the water!   | Multi stone shower | Jan 2011 | Here is a shower that the owner thought for sure should be demolished. luckily he called us. we repaired the rot in the lower corner, (Including a stud in the wall) and used a product that resembles Corian to coat the walls of the shower. it is a three coat process that involves a primer, a latex coating, and finaly an epoxy clear coat. the fiberglass shower pan was done in a bright white glaze.
