Craftsman Cottage, San Francisco

May 2012

This residence was a conversion from a nondescript San Francisco row house to an exquisite Green and Green, craftsman-style jewel. The entire two-bedroom, one-bathroom house had to be completely rewired. We mounted the Viking range fan on the roof so the owners dont hear its sounds when they cook, which required special wiring. We worked closely with the architect and contractor on this highly customized home to meet exacting standards.

Viator, Online Travel Company Remodel

Feb 2011

Viator is an online travel company that sells fun, so the challenge was to create an office space that reflected the company culture. The designer tore out the ceiling to expose the pipes, which gave the space an open, modern warehouse effect. We installed indirect lighting throughout the facilityone of the challenges was making sure there was plenty of light in the rooms that were painted dark blue, one of the companys corporate colors. Another source of light? The windows in Viators cheerful kitchen overlook San Franciscos Museum of Modern Art.

Contemporary Home,

Apr 2007

Roberts Electric partnered with an architect and general contractor on the remodel of this stunning contemporary home in the Oakland Hills. The project called for a sophisticated approach to lighting, retaining the integrity of the homes modern aesthetic. Working closely with a lighting designer and the homeowners, RECO provided high level lighting functionality throughout the house. A Lutron whole home control lighting system allows the owners to control lighting from one central area, giving them the ability to set distinct scenes that create ambience and accentuate the homes character. This project was featured in Metro Magazine.
