Reid Electric, Inc. was founded in 1960 by Sylvester S. Reid, Sr. at that time, the company concentrated primarily in the remodel and service fields. The family's second generation, Wayne C. Reid assumed company operations in 1976 and focused on commercial and industrial projects. Monty Reid the families 3rd generation assumed the companies operation in 2001 and he and his father changed the name to Reid & Reid Electric Inc.
