If I could rate lower, I would. I have been meaning to review for some time. About two-and-a-half years ago we hired Bill to do some sub-floor repair and install laminate flooring, as well as to repair and expand our deck. He was very nice in the beginning and got off to a quick start. Toward the beginning, he started to offer to do other small jobs as well, and we agreed. I think this was our first mistake, because we never got any paperwork on it. After showing up regularly for a couple of days, he essentially vanished. He sent his son and a couple others out a few times, but they rarely stayed for long, and their quality of work seemed less than that of Bill's. When they did the laminate, the failed to shut of valves under the kitchen sink which caused flooding, so they had to redo it. The railing around the deck was never completed, nor were the solar lights he talked us into ever attached (just set on top of the posts). We were without a kitchen sink for over a month after cabinets were replaced, and he left us without a toilet for over a day. Eventually, we started to get a little heated as he quit returning texts or phone calls. Finally, after a number of messages, I finally mentioned a lawyer, at which point his girlfriend responded that he had been out of town on another job, and would get in touch with me right away. We kept getting told that he would come out and meet with us and would finish everything right away. We heard this over and over for a couple of months, including that he would also tile our shower for free due to all the problems. I finally got to the point I just told him he should refund the labor costs since not one job was complete. He continued to say he would come out, but our final communication was a note he sent on the morning he was to come saying that he wasn't coming back because he felt insulted. I asked for paperwork (including receipts for materials) and a refund since we had paid up front for everything, but never heard from him again. I did reach out to an attorney, but since he had apparently moved to Wichita, he said we were probably out of luck. Now, two years later, we have finally hired somebody else to do some work, and it would appear that most of the work that was done by Bill and crew was substandard and needs to be redone. I encourage anybody thinking about hiring Bill to read carefully this review and some of the others - and then just don't do it. By the way, if Bill happens to read this - I would still like my money that you owe me. I might even add a star if you take some responsibility!

Please so not hire Bill Freeman the man running this company. This man was overpaid to do a job, breached his contract and left unfinished work. He wrongfully threatens to put a lien on my home knowing full well he did not properly complete his job. Even when he was paid as laid out in the contract he consistently lied and begged for money when the work was not completed. Further this man's replaced pipes not my hone knowing he was not licensed to do so. Please be careful as porch is not helpful in resolving issues like this. They do not stand behind their guarantee. This man should have never been suggested as a professional when I asked for a professional to do plumbing work.
