I contacted Fred’s in desperation after the Home Depot delivery/installers failed to properly hook up our new LG washer and dryer after a third visit (I know!) and left abruptly to make their other deliveries. The only explanation I received from HD was that “we can’t do this, we can’t, it’s a hazard”. With no true explanation and absolutely no potential solutions offered what I thought was just a simple purchase was suddenly a project and I was on my own to try and figure out some next steps. I called three HVAC businesses in my area. Not only did Brent at Fred’s call me back promptly but he offered to swing by on his way home and take a look. Finally a professional! A kind and empathetic professional! He arrived shortly there after, offered an explanation (torn and missing duct work - suspich Home Depot installers) and he fixed the problem they had created in minutes. He could have seriously taken advantage of the situation and sold me on something I didn’t need but he didn’t. He simply shared the truth, a quick solution, and a smile. Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity! In one visit no less.
