Chris Oldenhuis, CR, CKBR, Owner/Chief Construction Officer As CCO, Chris' role is to educate clients, develop a vision for each project, and oversee production. Chris first discovered his passion for hands-on construction while working his way through school. He started off building residential decks and quickly progressed to full-scale remodels. Oldenhuis Contracting was created in 1995 when Chris realized he could build a business from his side projects and referrals. Chris enjoys developing long-term relationships with customers, providing creative direction, and - like a true craftsman - working with his hands. Chris and his team of skilled carpenters are committed to quality, and they would rather over-engineer or send customers to the competition than take any shortcuts. In his spare time, Chris enjoys ice hockey, taking fishing trips to Canada, and cruising in his collector's muscle car, "Side Job." Chris is a Certified Remodeler, Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler, and licensed City of Omaha contractor. "Transforming old or bland spaces into works of art is what I find most fulfilling about my work. I leave my mark on this world through beautiful design and construction, and knowing some projects will be here even after I'm gone is a big part of what inspires me." -Chris As CEO of Oldenhuis Contracting Inc., Lynn's role is to drive office operations, enhance the customer experience, increase employee loyalty, and sustain a culture based on open rapport and camaraderie. A natural "people person," Lynn is passionate about enhancing client relationships and support. Lynn has a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in real estate and psychology. Her background is in human resources, and she has extensive experience with recruiting, compensation, benefits administration, and training. Lynn joined Oldenhuis Contracting Inc. in 1998 and accepted the role of President in early 2012. Lynn's favorite hobbies include playing ice hockey, yoga, and spending time outdoors. The Oldenhuis' are a foster family for the Humane Society, caring for animals in their home, and Lynn also helps out at the shelter by walking dogs. Lynn is inspired and supported by her life coach, who propels her to see the possibility in living for today.
