Welcome to Advance Plumbing & Heating Supply Company, a fourth-generation family owned and operated business, started by the late Harry Chernick in 1920. The company still operates a store at its original Grand River location in Detroit, across from the Motor City Casino. In 1990, with a solid reputation for excellence and an expanding market, Advance opened up a second location in Walled Lake, which features a state-of-the-art 5,000-squarefoot decorative plumbing showroom and an outstanding parts counter.
